She is a regular speaker at the Anesthesia Answer Book Conferences sponsored by United Communications Group, Healthstream Education Courses, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. She has also been a past speaker for Diamond Headache and American Society of Professional Coders. Joanne also conducts regional billing and educational seminars.
Joanne co-authored “Prescription for Pain Billing”, the first book dedicated to the appropriate coding of pain procedures. The book is written in lay language to help billing and office staff learn about the procedures for which they bill.
