As president and CEO of Mowles Medical Practice Management, LLC, Amy Mowles has successfully guided numerous new and established ambulatory surgery centers and physicians’ practices through the maze of regulations, licensing, certification and accreditation processes necessary for them to operate at maximum efficiency and profitability. She has successfully developed facilities in all 50 states.
Amy’s career in healthcare spans nearly 25 years with recognized expertise in licensing, certification and accreditation of healthcare facilities. She has vast experience in managing physician practices, successful payer relations and marketing physician practices.
Amy is a leading expert in pain management in the ASC setting. Her practical hands-on knowledge of the business of running a pain practice and her affable nature make her a popular presenter at professional specialty society meetings. Her involvement with CMS policy analysts, ASC and pain management societies as well as state regulatory agencies cemented her reputation as an expert in pain management practices and ASC/practice development. Today, Mowles Medical Practice Management has its finger on the pulse of regulatory policy changes, and Amy is constantly in demand as a faculty speaker, as well as an author and source for numerous publications.
Alana Booth, Clinical Director
Alana Booth is our clinical director. She has worked in the ASC industry for over 28 years as a staff nurse, clinical director and administrator. Her vast experience in the clinical setting, compliance, accreditation and quality bring critical and operational guidance to our clients.
Working as a AAAHC surveyor for over 11 years, Alana has current and updated knowledge in the daily operational requirements and has a strong passion and commitment to teach and support our clients in preparation for survey and inspection.
Alana’s hands-on experience in all aspects of the ASC helps our clients understand not only the theory for rules and regulations, but how to be able to adapt and apply them in their individual ASC setting.
Jeanne Kelmer, Administrative Assistant
Jeanne Kelmer is our multi-faceted administrative assistant.
With a degree in clinical psychology and experience as a full life-cycle software implementation management consultant, Jeanne brings a range of interpersonal and technical skills to the team.
Jeanne works hand in hand with clients navigating through the contracting and credentialing process.
