About Us

Since 1996, Mowles Medical Practice Management (MMPM) has been dedicated to helping pain management and other specialists develop efficient, productive and profitable Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) and practices. Understanding the need for comprehensive-yet-concise exploration of the complex challenges and differing environments of State Licensure, Medicare Certification and Accreditation for an ASC, MMPM delivers thoroughly researched information, hands-on facilitation and implementation of tailor-made plans to help you reach your goals and retain full ownership of your project.

Amy Gail Mowles, President and CEO

Amy Mowles has successfully guided numerous new ventures and established Ambulatory Surgical Centers and physicians' practices through the complicated maze of regulations, licensing, certification and accreditation processes. Her vast experience in managing and marketing physician practices and securing payer relations has helped all of them operate at maximum efficiency and profitability.

In 1996, Amy became involved with Pain Management Specialists. Recognizing the need for public awareness and education of Interventional Pain Management procedures, she assisted physicians in establishing the Mid-Atlantic Pain Society and was invited to speak at a number of national meetings. Amy’s experience with CMS policy analysts and ASC and Pain Management societies cemented her reputation as a leading expert in Pain Management practices and ASC/Practice development.

Amy’s practical expertise in regulatory policy changes, hands-on knowledge for practice and ASC start up has made her a Nationally Recognized ASC Development Specialist. Her affable nature makes her a popular presenter at professional specialty society meetings and a constantly in demand faculty speaker.
